Adult Swimming Lessons

Learning to swim at any age is rewarding and can be fun, but we recognise that many people missed the chance when they were children.

It's never too late to start learning to swim. Our instructors have taught many adults to swim over the years and will work with you to develop confidence, skills, and fitness in the water.

Adult Swimming Lessons are a supportive environment where you can make friends and improve at your own pace.

Come and learn with us so you can step into the beautiful Bay of Plenty waters with confidence.

What to expect at Adult Swimming Lessons

Adult Swimming Lessons are split into three levels. Swimmers will be placed in a class with others who have a similar swimming ability.

Level 1: Focus on building water confidence and covering basic freestyle and backstroke.
Level 2: Focus on freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke and starting to build endurance.
Level 3: Focus on improving freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke technique and starting to build some endurance. In the lap pool, up to 10 swimmers.
